One day Alice came to a fork in the road and saw a Cheshire cat in a tree. “Which road do I take?” she asked. “Where do you want to go?” was his response. “I don’t know,” Alice answered. “Then,” said the cat, “it doesn’t matter.” — Lewis Carrolle
How much importance does one need to give to the goals of life? A life without goals is an empty boat. it is sailing but carrying no passanger, the boat doesnt know where it is headed to. We are alive but do we live? We hardly ever notice our own breathing, we lack time… but we do have the time for our serials, for a long phone conversation!!!
My friends, life is living a day at a time. Smile at every being. When you are in the car, just feel your breathe. Notice how the stomach swells and how the air comes out of our body. Make short term goals, try and prioritize them. Live for today, who knows if we will be here tomorrow.
I might be contradicting my statement of making goals, but if i think from the view point of today, I am happy i had thought before hand about what i want to do, that way i will not be wasting my precious time. Tomorrow, i need to clean my ward robe. Now that i know this, if i get a tomorrow, i can get in to action without any delay.
rejoice and be exceedingly glad!
